Allie Heard is an accomplished pianist, arranger, composer, copyist, and accompanist. Allie’s passion for music and the piano began at the age of three when she first touched her Grandmother’s piano and then continued to grow at the age of 7 when she started taking piano lessons. Over the years, her passion has continued to grow, and she has documented this growth with 6 albums to date: “Barefoot Rhapsodies” (age 12), “Hallelujah” (age 13), “That Holy Night” (age 14), “Open Eyes” (age 16), “The Songs That Changed Me” (age 20), and “822 Jazz” (age 21).

Throughout Allie’s musical career she has been involved with Worship and Christian music. She has been playing in churches since the age of 12 and is skilled in accompanying vocalists and performing with worship teams and church orchestras. While Allie stays close to Christian music and commercial genres, she has also accomplished many goals in the Classical music genre. In 2019, Allie performed the Amy Beach Piano Concerto with the Northwinds Symphonic Band, Gainesville, GA, and in 2022 she debuted with the Belmont University Symphony Orchestra, Nashville, TN in a performance of the Gershwin Piano Concerto in F Major, 1st movement.

Performing is a major passion of Allie’s but composing and arranging have opened new ideas and wonders to her. Allie is known for her rhythmic melodies and superb technique.  In May 2020, Allie signed with the music publishing company Musicnotes, Inc. to have her compositions and arrangements published as sheet music. At Musicnotes, she has been named as a Signature Artist within the company, and her arrangements are sold alongside pianists such as Kyle Landry, Jarrod Radnich, and Constantino Carrara.

In 2023, Allie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Belmont University’s School of Music in Nashville, TN with an undergraduate degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis in performance and composition/arranging.  Currently, Allie is a graduate student at Belmont pursuing a master’s degree in Commercial Music with a Performance Emphasis due to graduate in Spring 2025. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Allie recorded an EP, “Come Go With Me” at Columbia Studio A in Nashville where Bob Dylan and Patsy Cline have previously recorded. Her latest project, “822 Jazz” was released in August 2022.

Allie feels that God has given her a talent to be shared with others and she wants to use it to honor Him. She loves playing the piano in all styles and genres of music and prays that the Lord will allow her to do it for the rest of her life.
